Dr Laura Schram
Veterinarian & Practice Owner
From a young age, Laura developed a deep love for animals—so much so that she’s always had more pets than she could count. During high school, she volunteered as a wildlife carer, rescuing and rehabilitating native animals such as koalas and kangaroos.
Laura has been a practising veterinarian since 2009, after graduating from the University of Melbourne. Over the years she worked in clinics across the western suburbs and Geelong before moving on to Vet 2 Pet. Known for her skill and passion for surgery, she brings a wealth of hands-on expertise to every case.
Laura purchased Vet 2 Pet to continue its legacy of compassionate, mobile veterinary care. She values the opportunity to treat pets in their home environment, believing it provides valuable insight—especially for conditions like skin disease, where surroundings can play a big role.
Wildlife and reptile medicine remain close to her heart. She continues to work with wildlife parks on occasion, treating a wide range of animals including goannas, crocodiles, camels, wombats, and kangaroos.

Liz Davies
Veterinary Nurse
Liz has been part of our nursing team since 2016 and has worked in veterinary nursing since 2013.
She lives locally with her daughter and their two cheeky Staffies, Harley and Hero, who are no strangers to mischief—especially Harley, whose claim to fame is having once eaten several heart-shaped silicone muffin trays, resulting in some rather impressive X-rays!
Although she has a soft spot for Staffies, Liz loves animals of all kinds. She doesn’t shy away from caring for those with feathers or scales, and has even nursed spiky echidnas.
Liz is a highly valued and integral part of our team, bringing experience, compassion, and a calm, capable presence to every shift.
