Mobile Vet

At Vet 2 Pet we turn your longeroom, porch or back yard into the consult room.  This makes vet visits less stressful for you and your fury friend. No more car sick dogs or freaked out cats!  We can do pretty much everything we would normally do in the consult room at a clinic and often more as pets are calmer, happier and because we can see how your pet is in thier own home. Why struggle with visits to the vet when we can come to you?

While we can do consultations in our mobile units, generally pets are more comfortable in their own homes and coming to them keeps them calm and happy. It is a good idea however to confine them to a small area like one room in the house, particularly cats as they may may be hard to find otherwise!

Our at home services include examinations for unwell pets, skin conditions and ear problems, general health checkups, microchipping, vaccinations and treatments for parasites.  Cases that need surgery are about to be transported in one of out well appointed mobile vet vans to our base clinic where most surgeries can be performed.

Pets, on average, age five to eight times faster than humans. By age two, most pets have already reached adulthood. At age four, many are entering middle age. By age seven, many dogs, particularly larger breeds, are entering their senior years.

Because pets age so rapidly, major health changes can occur in a short amount of time. The risk of cancer, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, heart disease and other serious conditions all increase with age.

Today’s pets are living longer than ever, chances are that many may experience a potentially serious illness during their lifetime. Annual health checks can help your veterinarian diagnose, treat or even prevent problems before they become life-threatening.
They’re also a great opportunity to ask us about nutrition, behaviour or any other issues.

Call us today to book a health check for your pet with one of our vets.
