Sarah Stewart
Veterinarian (BPsych (Hons) BVSc)
Sarah’s first job on the Central Coast was at Green Point Veterinary Hospital. After two years at the hospital, she left to work at several other hospitals in the pursuit of advancing her knowledge and skills.
Over recent months, Sarah has returned to Green Point Veterinary Hospital, while working as a locum, and has had the pleasure of seeing many of her favourite former patients and clients.
Sarah’s aims for Green Point Veterinary Hospital are:
- Creating and maintaining a respectful environment for clients, patients and staff,
- Ensuring that Green Point Vet Hospital delivers best practice medicine, and
- Building a team environment where staff are happy to come to work.
There is no denying that Vet Science is demanding and challenging work. However, it is also rewarding, even in the sadder moments when we can bring comfort to pets and their owners.
Unfortunately, there is a significant shortage of vets at the moment. So we hope you will bear with us as we face staffing challenges. We will do everything in our power to make your visit to Green Point Vet Hospital as pleasant as possible.
We have a dedicated team of vet nurses, ranging from experienced to trainee. We hope that you will join with us in helping to support them as they work to assist everyone who comes to the hospital.

Leigh Davies
Senior Vet Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)
Leigh began her veterinary career at Green Point Vet a number of years ago. First starting out as a kennel hand before undertaking training to become a qualified veterinary nurse. After a brief period of time living in Katherine in the Northern Territory, we are beyond delighted she has returned to the Coast and Green Point Vet as her skills and knowledge have helped many a new veterinary graduate and many veterinary nurses in training.
Leigh has exceptional animal handling and surgical nursing skills but now finds increased enjoyment and work satisfaction in undertaking reception, building and developing relationships with our clients and their fur family members and assisting with practice management.
Outside of work, Leigh is very busy at home with three beautiful young daughters, who are the proud owners of two rabbits named Lolly and Seashell Mermaid. And she enjoys playing Oztag.
