taking a cat to Canada from Australia requires

a veterinary certificate - in English - stating that the pet appaers fit to travel

by a licensed veterinarian accredited by Aqis

Id the animal ( breed, colour and weight) - although an ISO microchip is not required it is recommended.

- cat must be older than 3 months

- Australia is recognized and being rabies free by Canada - so rabies vaccination is not needed

- there is no quarantine necessary in Canada for cats from Australia

-The final state veterinarian  examination certificate  will state that rabies has not occurred in Australia for the last 6 months , and that will be stamped and signed an official of the government authority.

The cats also need a health certification by Dr Phil a registered aqis vet.
