Dr Leisa Brown
Veterinarian & Practice Owner
Leisa graduated from the University of QLD in 2006 and worked in Armidale and Goondiwindi prior to starting Guyra District Veterinary Services in 2009. She loves all aspects of rural mixed practice, from working with livestock through to caring for companion animals. Leisa has two much loved canines, a cattle dog 'Bruce' and a rescued greyhound 'Betty'. Betty is a special girl and has generously donated her blood on many occasions to save the lives of other dogs in need. Leisa and husband Trent also have three 2-legged children to complete the family and help out on their small sheep and cattle property.

Bec Bennett
Senior Vet Nurse
Bec grew up in the Goondiwindi region and after a year as a jillaroo in the NT made the move back to sunny Guyra with husband Mitch in 2015. Bec completed her veterinary nursing while working at the UQ Goondiwindi Pastoral Veterinary Centre, and is without doubt one of the best you will ever find! Bec can multi-task with the best of them and despite being a red head, has an uncanny ability to stay calm at all times. She remains a faithful servant to 'Maple' (Pug x) and 'Stewart' her cat, who is a frequent flyer here at the clinic. Bec and her husband own a small Angus stud and enjoy all the challenges and rewards that go along with any beef cattle enterprise.
