Allen O'Grady

Veterinarian & Practice Owner (BVSc (Hons) MVSc)

Dr Allen – Founder & Veterinarian

Dr Allen has dedicated over 50 years to the care and well-being of animals. In 1983, he founded Eatons Hill Vet Surgery in a small local shopping centre. As the community grew, so did the practice, and in 1995, it moved to its current home, the much-loved “Rose Cottage”, where it continues to provide compassionate and expert veterinary care.

Despite his many years of experience, Dr Allen’s passion for veterinary medicine remains as strong as ever. He has devoted his life to helping animals live healthier, happier lives and continues to be very hands-on at the clinic every day.

While Dr Allen enjoys treating all pets, he has a special interest in reptiles and birds of all species. He also offers after-hours support for urgent cases, understanding that pets don’t always wait for regular business hours when they need help.

Whether clients are new or long-standing, Dr Allen and the team look forward to welcoming them and their beloved pets to the clinic.

Lindy O'Grady

Veterinary Practice Manager

Lindy – Practice Manager

Lindy has been a dedicated member of Eatons Hill Vet Surgery for over 30 years. She plays a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and that every client and their pet feels genuinely cared for at each visit.

While her role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of operation, Lindy’s true passion is creating a welcoming and comforting environment where pet owners feel at ease bringing their beloved animals. She believes that trust and word of mouth are earned through consistent kindness and excellent care.

A special part of Lindy’s story is that the practice is not only her professional home but also where she met her husband, Dr Allen. She was once a client herself, visiting with her treasured Toy Poodle when they first met, a memorable beginning to their life together.

Lindy is always happy to listen to questions or feedback and welcomes both new and familiar clients as part of the Eatons Hill family.

Kristie Godden

Veterinarian (BVSc (Hons))

Dr Kristie – Veterinarian

We’re proud to have Dr Kristie as part of our veterinary team at Eatons Hill Vet Surgery. Kristie joined us in January 2023, and from day one, she’s brought warmth, compassion, and a deep commitment to the well-being of every animal she treats.

Graduating with honours from the University of Queensland, Kristie combines strong clinical knowledge with a naturally gentle and caring approach. She is dedicated to making both pets and their owners feel comfortable, supported, and truly cared for during every visit.

Whether she’s offering reassurance in a consult room or going the extra mile behind the scenes, Kristie treats every fur baby as if they were her own. Her calm and kind-hearted nature has quickly made her a favourite amongst clients, pets, and the EH team alike. You can find Kristie at the clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and also on the final Saturday of each month, always ready with a smile and a gentle hand to care for your beloved pets.

Brook Curran

Veterinarian (BVSc (Hons))

Dr Brook – Veterinarian

Dr Brook joined the Eatons Hill Vet Surgery team in February 2024, bringing with him over 20 years of veterinary experience. What makes his story extra special is that he started his journey with us years ago as a kennel hand while studying to become a vet, so it’s truly a full-circle moment to have him back caring for our community’s pets.

Brook has a strong passion and specialist training in orthopaedic surgeries, offering expert care to pets with bone, joint, and muscle conditions. His dedication to providing the highest standard of treatment is matched by his warm, approachable manner, making him a favourite amongst both clients and colleagues.

You can find him at the clinic on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, ready to provide compassionate, expert care for your beloved pets.
