Intestinal Worms in Pets: Prevention and Awareness
Intestinal worms are common in a wide range of animal species, including dogs, cats, rabbits, livestock, fish, reptiles, and birds. - A bloated or distended abdomen, especially in young animals
Prevention and Treatment
Routine veterinary care and a regular deworming schedule are essential for maintaining your pet’s health. Your veterinarian can recommend the appropriate deworming protocol based on your pet’s age, species, lifestyle, and risk factors. Maintaining good hygiene, promptly disposing of pet waste, and controlling intermediate hosts (like fleas) also help reduce the risk of infection.
