Our Visit to Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre

Supporting Wildlife Conservation

Last week, our team had the privilege of visiting the Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre in Perth. This incredible facility is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of wild native black cockatoos, providing them with a safe haven to recover and thrive. Our visit was not only an opportunity to see the remarkable work being done at Kaarakin but also to show our support for their vital conservation efforts.

At our pet Christmas photo shooting event last year, we were overwhelmed by the generosity and enthusiasm of our community. In the spirit of giving back, we donated all the funds from the event to the Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre. This donation was our way of contributing to the important work of protecting and preserving these magnificent birds and their natural habitat.

Our Visit to Kaarakin

Stepping into the Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre was an unforgettable experience. We were greeted by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers who shared their passion for wildlife conservation with us. As we toured the facility, we were amazed by the care and attention given to each bird. From injured cockatoos undergoing rehabilitation to those who had become permanent residents, every bird had a story to tell.

One of the highlights of our visit was meeting some of the beautiful black cockatoos that call Kaarakin home. From the majestic Red-tailed Black Cockatoos to the playful Carnaby's Cockatoos, each bird captured our hearts with their unique personality and resilience. Seeing the impact of Kaarakin's work on these magnificent creatures was truly inspiring.

Our visit to Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre was a reminder of the importance of wildlife conservation and the role that each of us can play in protecting our natural heritage. As we continue to support organisations like Kaarakin, we are committed to making a positive impact on the world around us.
