Dr Gary was born in Penang, Malaysia (a long time ago) and settled in Australia in 1980. After finishing High School at Lynwood Senior High, he went to Murdoch Universitiy to complete his Degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.
Dr Garys pets' include five cats and 1 maltese shihztu.
His Hobbies are Motorcycle and Bicylce riding and tinkering with Computers. His biggest passion how ever are his two boys Lachlan and Mitchell whom he has shared custody of. Mitchell is also Austistic so looking after Mitch tends to be a full time job. However Dr Gary still finds time to cook and enjoy watching footy ( especially when the Dockers win) and loves reading/ watching Science Fiction and Horror Genres.
Dr Gary Currently works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday till 2pm Performing Surgery and Tuesdays Only from 2-7pm performing consultations
Dr Kay was born and bred in sunny Queensland but settled in the West in 2002 after Graduating from the University of QLD with a Degree in Veterinary Science. After Spending 2 yrs working in an Albany mixed Practice, Dr Kay met her Husband and moved to Perth. She has worked in Private Practice and for the Cat Haven before landing on our doorstep in 2009.
Her Furry Family consists of the "Dingo Digger" Dakota, famous for her underground mining expeditions; Sacha the Rotti; 2 cats: Max, and Tabbitha; a rabbit named Binny; Sunshine, a noisy budgie and a very talkative Indian Ringneck parrot named Crunchy. Most have been picked up or adopted from places she has worked.
Dr Kay is currently studying for her Masters in Small Animal Practice. In her spare time between work and study she can be found either at the gym or spending time with hubby, Andrew and their two boys, Rhys(6) and Alistair(10).
Kate graduated in 2012 from Murdoch University. She has worked at several clinics in Perth and has been working at Warton Road Animal Hospital since January 2015- and has loved every minute!
Although the diversity and variety of Veterinary patients is what drew her to Veterinary Science, her special interests include soft tissue surgery, dermatology and wildlife. She is currently studying a Masters Degree in Wildlife and conservation, again through Murdoch, and is expected to graduate 2016.
Other than her animals, Kate has a passion for sports and enjoys playing netball and volleyball. She is also an avid traveler and loves seeing and experiencing new places!
Whens shes not hard at work or playing netball Kate enjoys nothing more that cuddles with her fur baby, Dusty ( a fellow red head)!
Kristen Graduated her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2006 from Swan Tafe and completed her Post Graduate Veterinary Technician certification in June 2012. Kristen is currently studying a Dual Diploma in Business and management which will be completed mid 2016.
Kristen also holds two certifications in Clinical Pathology as well as a certification in CPCR.
She also works casually as a Behaivoural Dog Trainer with AMREX Behaivour hosting weekly Obedience classes.
Kristens passion is Horses and horse riding, which is where you will find her when she's not here with us, however, she only currently owns a Dogue De Bordeaux x Rhodesian Ridgeback named Kaos, two Domestic Long haired cats, Dominoe and Roofy, as well as rainbow lorikeet called Kahn.
Kristen is on premise daily with varying hours.
Currently owns two dogs Sam (miniature Dachshund) and Ben (Labrador) and two cats Missie and Mocha. Her Hobbies include cleaning (the sinks at work), reading and drawing.
Her special Interests in vet nursing are in Surgery and Anaesthetics.
She is the proud owner of 4 cats Missy, Boots, Boofhead and Shadow
At home and at work, the animals(including her husband )keep her busy.
One day she dreams of working at the Singapore Zoo.
Trish did her training in Bournemouth Veterinary Hospital 1975, went to Bournemouth Tafe for 2 years and Qualified with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, England in 1975. Left Bournemouth 1976 to travel around Europe and worked with temping agenicies.
She Worked at Brentwood Vets 1977- 1983 before immigrating to Australia.Trish Joined the team at Warton Road Animal Hospital 1995, was employed full time till 2007 and is now currently working on a Part time basis.
Her time is kept busy walking her over excitable staffy Tuff, and spending time with her family.
Juanita has been a Veterinary Nurse for many years( too many to count) and has been working at Warton Road Animal hospital for 2.5 years of those years!
Juanita loves many aspects of nursing but has special interest in reproduction and breeding
- there's no question she can't answer ! Juanita has two American Staffodrshire Bullterriers- Jagger and Chops- as well as Stimpy, a stimpson python.
When shes not taking care of your pets, she enjoys camping, boat racing and looking after her three boys (husband included)
Started at Warton Road Animal Hospital in December of 2010 and has contributed to creating a fantastic dynamic here within our team.
Caroline has over 20 years of Experience in Grooming in all breeds of Dogs and Cats!!
Our Groomer offers a range in Styles of Clips from Summer Clips through to Creative styles and Breed Specific Clips.
She Believes in Cruelty Free Grooming and withholds the Ethos of Humanity before Vanity.
