A big part of our local community
Our Veterinary clinic has been an integral part of our local community for years. In that time, we’ve helped thousands of our clients cats & dogs, rabbits & birds, cattle, horses, sheep and even a few goats and alpacas. Being so strongly integrated with our local community is important to us and our clients. Our customers know by experience that they can rely on us for sound advice and treatment options and that their pet is in the very best hands with our team. Practice owner Dr Rebekah Densley and her staff are committed to continuing the long tradition of professional and reliable veterinary care in the Tatiara District.
Bordertown Veterinary Clinic would like to welcome our newest team member Dr Emma Johnsson! Emma started at the clinic on July 14th 2014. Emma is a veterinary graduate of Adelaide University (Roseworthy) and has joined us after 6 months of work at the Kangaroo Island veterinary practice.
Regretfully Dr Kate Bitter is leaving the practice to pursue other opportunites overseas. We farewell her on August 22nd 2014. Kate has valued immensely the work and experience she has gained in almost 6 years of practice at Bordertown Veterinary Clinic and thoroughly enjoyed her time in the Tatiara community. We will be sad to see her go but wish her all the best with her future endeavours. Kate leaves the following statement:
To all the clients and patients I have served over the last 6 years,
On the 22nd of August I will be finishing my time at Bordertown Veterinary Clinic. I would like to thank you very much for your support and business. It has been a pleasure to practise in the Tatiara District and get to know you and your animals. I have many wonderful and memorable experiences to take away with me on my next adventure and will always look back fondly on my time in Bordertown. I am lucky that I was able to begin my career in such a supportive and welcoming community. Fondest regards and farewell!
WE ARE LOOKING FOR MORE GORGEOUS PUPPIES TO JOIN THE RANKS AS PUPPY PRESCHOOL GRADUATES!! Bordertown Veterinary Clinic's Puppy Preschool classes are proving a hit! This is a class for puppies and their owners to provide initial socialisation, some health care information and basic training techniques. Classes run for 1 hour on Tuesday evenings from 6-7pm once a week for 4 weeks. Puppies must be between 8 weeks and 16 weeks of age to begin the classes and have had at least their first puppy vaccination. We have had several graduating classes since starting the program in January 2013 and all puppies and owners have had a great time - like us on Facebook to see pictures of the class graduates. It is great to see the puppies' personalities develop and their learning improve over the 4 weeks. For more information or to sign up your puppy please contact us at the clinic.
